전측두엽 치매(FTD)는 내측 전전두엽 피질과 전도 섬엽 피질의 퇴행으로 인해 행동의 점진적 변화, 실행 기능 장애, 언어 장애를 특징으로 하는 신경퇴행성 질환군입니다. 현재까지 네 가지 임상 아형이 확인되었습니다. 의미 치매, 진행성 비유창성 실어증, 행동 변이형 FTD, 우측 측두엽 위축증이 그것입니다.
