Hemoragia cerebrală ereditară cu amiloidoză (HCHWA) descrie un grup de tulburări rare, familiale, ale sistemului nervos central, caracterizate prin depunerea de amiloid în vasele de sânge cerebrale, ceea ce duce la accidente vasculare cerebrale hemoragice și nehemoragice, deficite neurologice focale și declin cognitiv progresiv, care poate evolua în cele din urmă spre demență.
