Sarvekesta düstroofia
Pärilike haiguste rühm, mis mõjutab ühte või mitut sarvekesta kihti, sealhulgas Fuchsi endoteeliaalne düstroofia (sageli seotud TCF4 korduse laienemisega), TGFBI-ga seotud granulaarne ja võrkjas düstroofia ning harvemad tüübid, mida põhjustavad sellised geenid nagu SLC4A11, COL8A2, ZEB1 ja CHST6.
Mida diagnoos muudab
TGFBI variantide kandjatele soovitatakse üldiselt vältida laserrefraktsioonkirurgiat (LASIK või PRK), kuna see võib sadestisi süvendada; sarvekesta siirdamine võib taastada nägemise kaugelearenenud haiguse korral.
