Melanoma Polygenic Risk Score
Melanoma is a skin cancer arising from pigment cells. Sun exposure, fair skin and many moles raise risk, and so do inherited variants.
A risk score adds up many common variants, each with a small effect, into an estimate of genetic predisposition. It is not a diagnosis.
