About the Test
About the Test
WGS reads all 6.4 billion base pairs and every gene region. Dante performs clinical-grade 30X whole genome sequencing, the gold standard for variant identification, unlike targeted tests that check only pre-selected markers.
Consumer tests use genotyping, reading less than 0.02% of your genome. Dante sequences the full genome at 30X clinical coverage, identifying 4.6–5 million variants including rare variants and structural changes.
30X coverage means that, on average, every position in your genome is read 30 times. This ensures 99.98% accuracy and is the clinical diagnostic standard.
810+ physician-ready reports cover cardiac conditions, hereditary cancer, neurological conditions, rare diseases, and pharmacogenomics, delivered through the Genome Manager portal.
Yes. While your DNA doesn’t change, new variant-disease associations are discovered monthly. Dante validates findings and updates reports automatically; you can add new reports without resampling.
Yes. Existing data from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, or similar providers can be uploaded to access Dante’s clinical-grade reports and interpretation.
Yes. Shared DNA means results provide insights for biological relatives regarding heritable conditions like hereditary cancer or cardiac disease affecting parents, siblings, and children.
No. WES reads only protein-coding regions (1–2% of DNA). WGS reads all 6.4 billion base pairs including regulatory and intergenic regions, making it more comprehensive.
How It Works
How It Works
Choose your test, place an order, and receive a collection kit at home with clear instructions. No clinic visit or blood draw required.
A dried blood spot. You prick your finger with the lancet in the kit, put a few drops of blood on the card, let it dry, and return it via prepaid shipping.
No. Whole genome sequencing is available direct-to-consumer without prescription or referral, though discussing results with healthcare professionals is recommended.
Samples process through CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited US and EU partner labs. Genomic processing occurs at an Italian partner lab under GDPR framework with ISO 15189 accreditation.
Yes. Dante ships worldwide to over 100 countries with free shipping and prepaid return materials included.
Your Results
Your Results
Reports deliver to your secure Genome Manager portal for viewing, downloading, and sharing with doctors. Raw data files (FASTQ, BAM, VCF) are available upon request.
Dante’s proprietary platform provides complete genome data access, includes AI Genome Chat for plain-language questions, physician-ready outputs, family profiles, and clinical team sharing capabilities.
Yes. Reports are designed to be physician-ready — formatted for clinical review, shareable directly from your account or downloadable for appointments. NHS hospitals have reviewed and accepted results.
Share results with your doctor or genetic counselor. Reports use ACMG guidelines (the standard for clinical geneticists) to inform next steps including testing, screening, or care plan changes.
Clinical Use
Clinical Use
Testing occurs through CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited labs with ACMG-classified variants. Clinical teams at NHS Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow used Dante data to identify Noonan Syndrome and RUNX1 deficiency.
CLIA and CAP certifications plus ISO 15189 (medical lab), ISO 9001 (quality), and ISO 13485 (devices). Data handling complies with HIPAA and GDPR.
Yes. Dante Genomics B2B portal allows clinicians and institutions to register kits, monitor analysis, and receive secure results under GDPR and HIPAA.
Yes. Data complements existing clinical pathways for diagnostic decisions, treatment guidance, and hereditary risk identification. Over 1.3 million reports delivered across 100+ countries.
Privacy & Data

You do. You control your data—download, delete, or anonymize anytime. Dante doesn’t sell personal information or genomic data.
No. Data is never sold or shared without explicit consent. Dante operates as Data Controller under GDPR.
Samples are destroyed after results become available in your account. Results remain until account deactivation; personal data is retained 10 years for legal compliance only.

Shipping & Timelines
Shipping & Timelines
Shipping is free worldwide, and the kit comes with a prepaid return box.
Yes. Dante ships worldwide with reports delivered to users in 100+ countries and free shipping included.
Whole genome results typically arrive in 6–8 weeks after lab arrival, with email updates at each processing step. Cellular Monitoring (RNA) results take approximately 4–6 weeks.
The price for your country is shown, in your currency, at checkout. It includes 30X sequencing, 810+ reports, lifetime Genome Manager access, automatic updates, and free worldwide shipping.
Raise a request at https://support.dantelabs.com. The team typically responds within 24 hours.
A satisfaction guarantee allows full refunds if kits haven’t been activated. Once sequencing begins, services become non-refundable due to laboratory resource commitment.
Cellular Monitoring
Cellular Monitoring
Two things. First, we read your complete genetic code — the set of instructions you were born with. This reveals predispositions and risks that never change. Then, twice a year, an RNA test measures your cellular activity — what your body is actually doing with those instructions right now. Together, they give you the full picture.
Standard blood tests measure the outputs of biological processes — things like cholesterol levels, hormone levels, and protein markers. By the time those numbers shift, the underlying process has been running for weeks or months. We measure at the cellular level, catching signals upstream — before they show up on a standard panel.
A simple card with a small lancet. You prick your finger, apply a few drops of blood to the card, let it dry, and mail it back in the prepaid envelope. Takes about two minutes. No clinic visit needed.
Not at all. Your reports are written in plain language with clear explanations. If you want to share them with a doctor, they’re also designed to be physician-ready.
Yes. You can share access through your portal or download reports to bring to appointments.
Yes, anytime. Your data and all reports remain yours. Full access to everything, downloadable at any time.
