How can I ship my sample to the lab?
You can take advantage of true free shipping: you will receive your kit at no extra cost and inside the box you will find a prepaid return label ready to use.
If you cannot find the label, please contact us here to receive the pdf version as soon as possible.
How can I collect the sample if the person who needs the test is a child or has difficulty producing the sample?
Sample collection is very simple and we provide different solutions to meet all requirements. Leave a note in the checkout and Contact Us when placing your order and we will send you the sample kit that best suits your needs.
How does your test compare to other tests by other genetic companies?
The distinctive aspect that differentiates Dante Labs from all other genetics companies is comprehensiveness. Not only do we provide a complete test, based on Whole Genome Sequencing, but we also take care of the entire supply chain: from shipping, to the laboratory, to bioinformatics analysis, genetic software and report generation tools. How will my data be used?
Your data is yours. Which is why we have developed proprietary software linked to a dedicated platform, the Genome Manager, to provide you with unique access to your data whenever you want, wherever you are.
Why do I get an error message when downloading my raw data?
The Raw Data are available as a free download for the first 30 days of release. They continue to be accessible thereafter by purchasing a Gold or Silver subscription from your Genome Manager account. Subscriptions can be purchased in the Shop section of your account.
If 7 days after purchasing your subscription the Raw Data are still not available, please contact us here.
I’m having trouble signing into my Genome Manager account. What should I do?

How will I receive my reports?
The first thing to do when you receive your kit is to register it on your Genome Manager account. Dante's proprietary platform will keep you up-to-date on all stages of your genetic journey, providing you with the real-time status of your sample and where you can download your free report and raw data* at any time.
*Raw data will be available free of charge for the first 30 days after release.
How can I add other reports to my account?
At any time, you can log into your Genome Manager account and visit the Shop section. Here you will find a catalog with more than 150 additional reports dedicated to all areas of health. In addition, by subscribing to our newsletter you can always see new reports and panel updates.
I bought one or more additional reports, how long does it take to receive them?
If you have already received the results of your genetic analysis, additional reports will be uploaded in just a few days: 1 to 5.

About the results

How can my doctor use the results?
You will be provided with a digital version of the raw data and reports. Thanks to these in-depth tools, you will be able to share your preferred information with your geneticist and/or doctor to indicate and plan the healthiest course for you.
When will I receive my results?
Kit reception and quality control steps can take a variable amount of time depending on kit volumes and internal conditions. Once your sample enters the Sequencing Start phase, you can count on a few weeks to receive the confirmation email that your results are available on your Genome Manager account.
Can the test detect a particular disease?
Yes. The Dante Genome test is based on the Whole Genome Sequencing methodology, and is able to detect susceptibility to specific genetic diseases. For a very focused analysis, we provide both raw data, where you can inspect any specific gene you are interested in, and the Medical Report that matches your genetic make-up with your clinical records.
