PALB2-Panel
Das PALB2-Panel ist ein Gentest, der das PALB2-Gen untersucht, das mit einem erhöhten Brustkrebsrisiko verbunden ist. Mutationen im PALB2-Gen können das Risiko, an Brustkrebs zu erkranken, um das bis zu Neunfache des normalen Risikos erhöhen. Das Gremium kann dabei helfen, Personen mit einem höheren Brustkrebsrisiko zu identifizieren und Screening- und Präventionsmaßnahmen anzuleiten.
Frauen mit einer persönlichen oder familiären Vorgeschichte von Brustkrebs, insbesondere solche mit einer bekannten Mutation in den BRCA1- oder BRCA2-Genen. Das Gremium kann wertvolle Informationen für die Entwicklung personalisierter Screening- und Präventionspläne liefern und dabei helfen, Personen zu identifizieren, die für klinische Studien oder andere Interventionen in Frage kommen.
Die Analyse berücksichtigt die Mutation der Keimbahn-DNA und untersucht SNP- und Indel-Mutationen bis zu 150 bp.

How will I receive my reports?
The first thing to do when you receive your kit is to register it on your Genome Manager account. Dante's proprietary platform will keep you up-to-date on all stages of your genetic journey, providing you with the real-time status of your sample and where you can download your free report and raw data* at any time.
